Nazareth Elementary School

For 140 years the Sisters of Saint Joseph have been providing quality Catholic education   through the Nazareth Schools—Nazareth Hall and Nazareth Academy. The amazing facility Nazareth Elementary School now occupies was home to Nazareth Academy, a high school for girls, for many generations. More recently the building was also home to Nazareth Hall’s middle school students.

In 2010 the Sisters partnered with The Aquinas Institute to form the Aquinas Institute-Nazareth Schools System, beginning a new chapter in the history of the Nazareth Schools.  The school system provides the Diocese of Rochester with the only prek-12 Catholic School system.

Today the school continues to thrive as our commitment to providing quality Catholic education remains strong. We currently have 15 Sisters who work at Nazareth Elementary and at The Aquinas Institute, plus many Sister volunteers.
