New SSJ Associate Makes Commitment

The Associate vision statement states: “…the Sisters of Saint Joseph Associates and vowed members journey together, sharing stories and breaking bread. We are rooted in the great love of God and supported by each other’s prayers and gifts; we reach out to the dear neighbor.”

Patricia Malach, an SSJ candidate for the past two years, has been journeying with the Associates and Sisters as she learned about our history, spirituality, charism, and mission.

On March 16, before Sisters, Associates, Collaborators, family and friends, Patricia made her Associate commitment during our annual St. Joseph’s Day Mass.

We congratulate and offer her our continued prayers and support as she continues her faith journey.

We also look forward to welcoming Kate Small as a new Associate as she was unable to take part in the March 16 commitment ceremony. The date for Kate’s commitment is yet to be determined.
