The Sisters of Saint Joseph are proud to announce the installation of a
new Leadership Team. The team consists of President - Sister Sharon
Bailey; Vice President -Sister Marilyn Pray; Councilor 1 - Sister Karen
Dietz; Councilor 2 - Sister Mary Ann Mayer.
Sister Sharon Bailey
is a pediatric nurse practitioner and massage therapist who has served
in past Congregational leadership roles. She was most recently the
Congregational Formation Director, guiding young women in the beginning
stages of their religious life.
Sister Marilyn Pray
ministers in education and was most recently the Coordinator of Campus
Life at Aquinas Institute. Sister Marilyn holds a doctorate in Theology
and has also served on Congregational leadership in a prior
administration.
Sister Karen Dietz has
actively served in several leadership roles with the Diocese of
Rochester, New York. She served for five years as the pastoral
administrator of the St. Agnes in Avon, St. Paul the Cross in Honeoye
Falls and St. Rose in Lima cluster parish.
Sister Mary Ann Mayer
continues for a second concurrent term in Congregational leadership.
In addition to her leadership roles she ministered in education and
taught at De Sales High School in Geneva and Nazareth Academy and McQuaid Jesuit High Schools in
Rochester, New York. She also ministered in the SSJ mission in Brazil.
The new team was formally installed on Saturday, August 29, 2015. A Mass and reception was held. For highlights from the event

The Congregation elected the new team on Saturday, July 18, 2015. The election was the culmination of the Congregation's Chapter gathering which is a major Congregational event that sets the course for the next four years.
