The Sisters of Saint Joseph are proud to host the 14th Annual Artist's Soul Art Show from April 21 - April 30, 2017 at the SSJ Motherhouse located at 150 French Road in Rochester. The exhibit is open Saturdays 1 to 5 pm, Sundays noon to 4 pm, and Monday through Friday, noon to 5 pm. Admission is free. The public is also invited to a special Opening Reception Friday, April 21 from 7 to 9 pm.
The Artist's Soul Art Show will feature the work of 25 artists from the Rochester area, including five Sisters of Saint Joseph. The exhibit includes original works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, and photography as well as prints and notecards.
This year’s featured artist is Carole Leicht. Ms. Leicht is an accomplished watercolorist. She has work in private collections, locally as well as in Florida, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey and the surrounding states, Canada, Virgin Islands, France and Ireland. She also teaches different watercolor techniques to area art groups.
A portion of the proceeds from the Artist's Soul Art Show benefits the SSJ Ministry Fund. The fund helps support the work of our Sisters in education, health and pastoral care and social service.
