The Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester are proud to join thousands of others in celebrating Catholic Sisters in America, March 8-14 as part of Women's History Month!
Catholic Sisters Week celebrates the past and present efforts of Catholic Sisters in the United States, bringing greater visibility to their faith-filled and courageous contributions to our communities. Women religious have made, and continue to make, vital contributions in education, health care, criminal justice, social justice, theology, the arts and politics.
Who are the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester?
The Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester have been part of the Rochester community since 1854. Our Sisters, active and retired, work quietly addressing pressing societal needs and extending God's presence to the countless persons we pray for and meet each day. We serve in the twelve counties of the Diocese of Rochester, rural Alabama, and Brazil.
