This summer’s Holy Moly Marathon Swim to raise funds for Brazil was a great success! On July 30, Eyal Feldman swam 10 miles across Chicago’s Lake Michigan shoreline, from Gilson Beach to Montrose Beach in five hours and 45 minutes. The swim raised over $6,000 for Sister Chris Burgmaier’s Christmas Food Drive which helps over 350 families in Brazil. Eyal, who is Sister Chris’ nephew-in-law, is an avid swimmer and fitness enthusiast and has completed four other marathon swims for charity. What inspires Eyal? “I wish to create positive change with family and friends across multiple faiths to help people through fitness and health.”
Eyal wants to keep the positivity going…he is planning another marathon swim for Brazil next summer. Stay tuned for details on a location and date!
