Gracious and Loving God,
we stand at the threshold of a new moment
believing that You graciously offer us
life and prosperity.

You promise untold blessings
And grace-filled opportunities.

Your love invites us to trust in
What we cannot see with our eyes
But what we can embrace
And savor with our hearts.

The love you poured forth on
our yesterdays enable us to enter
into unknown tomorrows.

Today we hear
Your invitation to choose life
So that we and those who follow us
May live in and hold fast to Your love.

We consciously and with deep faith
and firm hope choose to live totally
dependent on You, the god of
our yesterdays and God of our tomorrows,
the God who lives with and among us
now and forever. Amen
