Sister Mary Ann Sutera, formerly Sister Philip Neri, spent 30 years as a teacher in the Diocese of Rochester. She taught at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Rochester; St. Lawrence, Rochester; and Christ the King, Rochester. After teaching, Sister Mary Ann was a volunteer for the former SSJ ministry Sisters Care in which she visited with the elderly. She also spent several years as a Recreation Therapist at St. Ann’s Home where she continued to serve as a volunteer visitor before her passing.
