SSJs Continue Homeless Outreach

The Sisters of Saint Joseph continued their outreach to those in need by handing out new clothes and offering services to the unhoused and people struggling with mental health issues. The efforts took part during an ice cream social on Thursday, July 18 at St. Joseph's Park in the City of Rochester. The event was organized by Sister Beth LeValley through Rochester's Homeless Outreach Team (HOT). Sister Beth is a member of HOT along with representatives from various service agencies throughout Monroe County. Those in attendance were also given peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, made by our Sisters at the Motherhouse. This is the second year in a row that Sister Beth has organized the event with HOT.
